A KNEELING, single-arm, weighted reverse fly will tone your upper back, says personal trainer Nadya Fairweathe­r (u-shape.co.uk).

With right hand and knee on a bench, left foot on the floor and with a 1-2kg weight hanging down in your left hand, imagine that you arenow ‘flying’ and you need to use your left arm to do this.

Keeping arm slightly bent, raise it until it is shoulder height and parallel to the floor, then slowly lower again. Try not to let the arm just flop back. Do three sets of 12-15 reps per side. Use heavier weight if too easy.
