Clarifications & corrections

AN ARTICLE in Monday’s Scottish Daily Mail stated that more than 200 Historic Environment Scotland (HES) sites were closed to the public last year because of deterioration. HES says it has never closed 200 sites. Currently, 44 sites have no visitor access or restricted access while earlier this year that figure stood at 68. We are happy to clarify.
