Resign and eat cake

-

SO THe Supreme court voted against another independence referendum. it was a unanimous ruling against the duplicitous SNP.

for me, it mirrors what i feel to be in the hearts of most Scots – an independent Scotland could not survive the financial and political upheaval.

i wonder now, in the coming weeks and months ahead, whether the first Minister will at last turn her attention to the more critical problems facing our country: the cost of living crisis, a failing national health service and rising energy costs.

We have had five years of constant nagging and cantankerous baloney aimed not just at us, the Scottish people, but also at the Westminster Parliament.

i, and probably most of us rational Scots, would kindly ask that Miss Sturgeon resign from her post as first Minister.

You’ve had your cake, so it’s now time to eat it. it will leave a nasty taste in your mouth!

Please go. We’ve had enough. And lastly, i take my hat off to the five justices. Well done, from all rightminded people of Scotland.

iAN P. OliVer, Aberdeen.
