StudioEAST is a multi-disciplinary, youthful practice of chartered architects based in Perthshire and operating across Scotland. Having grown steadily over the past few years, the practice has developed a diverse portfolio of work with a reputation for a personal level of service; treating each project individually and working with clients to meet their needs and ambitions.

Clients include private landowners, homeowners, developers and both local and multi-national businesses.

studioE AST has worked on a variety of residential projects; from small extensions and bespoke new build housing, to renovation of listed buildings and housing developments.

Richard Taylor, owner and architect says: ‘Every project presents its own specific brief and set of design criteria, so the practice works within both traditional and contemporary boundaries. This could be through making a bold, modern statement or being sympathetic with the use of traditional materials.’

The practice is currently working with landowners, estates and their agents to help make the most of their properties and land use. This has been through procurement of planning approvals and development of existing buildings.

Working with businesses across Scotland, studioEAST has worked with residential developers and private enterprise alike across diverse sectors.

Having recently completed a small Montessori nursery school, an extension to an indoor climbing wall and the renovation of a research laboratory, studioEAST thoroughly enjoys the range of work and different challenges coming its way.

The practice is currently working on a major renovation of a Perthshire hotel, bringing new facilities to a rural community and development of a stable and livery business.

studioEAST was nominated as a finalist in the 2014 Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Business Star Awards, recognised for the ambition, growth and achievements of the practice and the dedicated team at its forefront, ready to discuss and deliver your new-build requirements.
