Fighting cancer for a quarter of a century

Cancer Research UK celebrated 25 years of the ‘Perth Christmas Fair’, and an amazing £250,000 raised, with a lunch for organisers and long-standing stall holders at The Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh. For the last 25 years, the main organiser of the Christmas Fair has been volunteer Penny L’Anson of Balbeggie (seated, third from left) outside Perth, who annually recruits more than 60 stall holders from across the UK to join her at Scone Palace to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
