TOP TABLE
An 18th/19th-century huanghuali and burlwood low table will go under the hammer at Bonhams Asian Art sale in Edinburgh on 23 March. The top surface is inset with a rectangular burlwood panel enclosed within a huanghuali frame ending on two sides with upright terminals, all above the apron carved with foliate scrolls flanking the four legs and raised edging terminating in horseho-of-shaped feet. The table carries an estimate of £4,000 – 6,000.
