A drop of the white stuff
Over 60 venues are taking part in the 2016 Scottish Snowdrop Festival. Special events will take place at gardens and woodlands across the country until 13 March, so you’re sure to be able to find somewhere to enjoy these dainty little heralds of spring. Some of this year’s highlights include a snowdrop and stargazing event at Craigengillan Estate and Dark Sky Observatory on 21 February, snowdrops with views over Loch Ness at Abriachan Garden Nursery, guided tours at the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh and snowdrops in a
fairytale castle setting at Duntreath Castle in Blanefield.
