PITCH YOUR PORRIDGE

Have you perfected the art of porridge making? If so, how about pitching your porridge-making skills against fans from across the globe? Entries are now open for the 2016 World Porridge Making Championships, which take place in the Highland village of Carrbridge on Saturday 8 October. The title of World Porridge Making Champion and the Golden Spurtle trophy are awarded to the contestant deemed to have made the best traditional porridge using just three ingredients – oatmeal, water and salt.
