St George’s School

Scottish Field - - SCHOOLS FEATURE -

At St George’s your daughter will gain confidence, developing her own personality and the strength of character to succeed in whatever she chooses. The ‘YES SHE CAN’ attitude and extensive range of opportunities help to broaden her horizons and ambitions. Put simply, there is no stereotyping in a girls’ school. The school is small enough (at around 800 pupils) to know your daughter really well, yet large enough in the examination years to offer an impressively wide range of subjects and courses. Come to St George’s Open Morning and find out for yourself on Saturday 7 and Wednesday 11 October. You will meet Mrs Alex Hems, who took over the headship in January 2017, who has over 20 years of experience of working in highly acclaimed UK girls’ schools including St Paul’s Girls’ School, London, and Wycombe Abbey. St George’s are the only all-through girls’ school in Edinburgh, taking girls from two to 18 years and boarders from 12 years.
