MYSTERIES OF THE DEEP

Scottish Field - - NEWS -

A new investigation has been launched to find unusual creatures lurking in Loch Ness. A global group of scientists, the Super Natural History team, will investigate the loch’s inhabitants with the aim of uncovering irregular species. In addition to sampling the water, the examination involves sampling the concentration of living things from the water and extracting their DNA. The team will take samples from the loch over a twoweek period to determine the types of creatures living there. Control groups are sampling nearby Lochs Morar, Oich and Garry. Results are to be revealed early next year. Right: The Super Natural History team prepare to investigate.
