Di­a­geo starts work on £6.4m cen­tre of ex­cel­lence

Di­a­geo have started work on a tech­ni­cal cen­tre of ex­cel­lence in Clack­man­nan­shire. The £6.4 mil­lion project will up­grade fa­cil­i­ties for Di­a­geo’s whisky blend­ing, sci­ence and tech­nol­ogy and ma­te­ri­als test­ing teams. It will also pro­vide world-stan­dard fa­cil­i­ties for the com­pany’s sci­en­tists and will be a hub of in­no­va­tion in the spir­its in­dus­try and in en­vi­ron­men­tal sus­tain­abil­ity in man­u­fac­tur­ing. The tech­ni­cal cen­tre is home to teams who work across Di­a­geo’s brands, in­clud­ing John­nie Walker, Bell’s, and J&B Scotch Whiskies.
