Tea time at Gleneagles
A series of afternoon teas will take place at Gleneagles until November. The hotel’s Michelin-starred chef Andrew Fairlie has opened the doors to his secret garden for the first in the series, ‘Flavours of the Secret Garden Afternoon Tea’, on offer from 20 August. Provençal amuse bouches and summer flavours, such as cucumber, strawberry, geranium and raspberry, are used in the menu. Tom Kitchin and Lady Claire Macdonald have also created personal afternoon teas drawing on their Scottish roots and championing local produce.
