Call o the wild

The House of Bruar takes a walk on the wild side with an all-new Autumn/Winter selection of exclusive country clothing that features the very best in luxury natural fibres combined with cutting edge contemporary designs

-

Over the last two decades, The House of Bruar has firmly established itself as the UK’s leading, independent country clothing store, creating original, contemporary designs in partnership with some of the UK’s few remaining textile mills.

Natural fibres are a speciality at the House of Bruar, as the company believes that nothing can match the depth of colour and sensual appeal of textiles like cashmere, silk, merino and premium lambswool. Their extensive collection of the highest quality knitwear is complemented by a generous selection of exclusive pure new wool tweeds and plaids, providing everything needed for the complete country wardrobe.

This same commitment to exacting standards and premium materials extends throughout their menswear collection, where exclusive new designs stand alongside offerings from the world’s leading country clothing brands, including Barbour, Gant and RM Williams.

Situated just outside Blair Atholl, over 1.5 million customers visit the store annually, and the business continues to go from strength to strength. Joining the extensive food hall, present shop and gallery is a new luxury fish and chip shop and a dedicated hand knitting department, both of which are already proving incredibly popular with customers.

The scope and vision of Bruar’s product design team has also grown over the years, bringing a refreshingly contemporary approach to traditional textiles and designs that reflect Scotland’s rich cultural heritage without being slavishly bound to it.

This year welcomes the launch of their new Call of the Wild label. This exciting collection sees the company branch out in a bold new direction with more vibrant and dynamic creations that capture the untamed spirit of Scotland’s wild places. Organic colours combine with the finest natural materials to form a series of designs that will take The House of Bruar’s particular brand of refined, rural style to a whole new generation, while continuing to ensure that their most valued customers remain well-served.

With everything from stunning feature pieces to everyday wardrobe essentials, The House of Bruar rightly deserves their reputation as the home of country clothing. Their continued success stands as a testament to their uncompromising pursuit of quality in both the products that they sell and the level of service they provide.
