Shetland Wool Week

Starting on 22 September, this week long event is a celebration of Shetland wool as a world-class natural fibre, with a reputation for quality, strength and excellence. There will be an extensive range of exhibitions, classes and events covering many different subjects. The Orkney Blues Festival

Bringing together local and national artists from 2830 September, anyone who enjoys a bit of the blues is welcome to come along to events hosted in venues across Orkney. The Grand Finale will be held at the Stromness Hotel and will host all of the headline acts from the festival.

A celebration of adventure travel films from the 1930s to the present day, featuring journeys on horse, bike, sled and canoe. To fully capture the spirit of adventure, guests can camp in the highlands for the weekend of 21-23 September. Several workshops will run as well as live music in the evenings. Weekend passes include admittance to all films and meals (breakfast and dinner).
