Scottish Field - - LETTERS -

The residents of Bonty Court Sheltered Housing in Aboyne are very lucky to have a lovely garden to sit in and enjoy the sunshine and each other’s company. We have lots of flowers and shrubs, and best of all lots of different species of birds. My favourites are the thrush and little Jenny wren. Next week, a man is bringing his owls for us to enjoy – a barn owl, a tawny owl, a long-eared owl, and I forget the fourth (old age!) but we will all enjoy handling them. We feed our birds and it’s great to watch the magpies at night circulating way up high in the sky. Now it has dawned on me the fourth owl is a snowy swl. The man says they all have names – Boris, Snowdrop, Timothy and Logan. I am all excited, already! Mildred Leoutlo, Aboyne
