Brambling on

I enjoyed the article ‘Wild and free’ in the November issue of Scottish Field. However, I was disappointed to read ‘blackberries’ instead of ‘brambles’.

I always associated ‘blackberries’ as being from further South, and ‘brambles’ as being Scottish. Apart from that, no other complaints.
