Loch Ness Absinthe are the first UK company to win a medal at the Absinthiades Festival in Pontarlier in France, clinching a gold. The Absinthe is distilled on the banks of Loch Ness by Lorien Cameron-Ross, who is also the first-ever female distiller to win a medal in the history of the competition. Loch Ness Absinthe was up against 25 entries, split into Verte and Blanche categories, with three panels of judge’s blind tasting each one; professional jury, public jury and VIP jury.
