Isle of Raasay Distillery have opened up for pre-orders for the first ever Isle of Raasay Single Malt. Produced and distilled on site the whisky uses only Scottish barley, distillers’ yeast and mineral-rich water sourced from the distillery’s own well. The first batch which has been in bourbon barrels since 2017 is to be finished in Bordeaux red wine casks before being bottled at 46% ABV, ready to ship in time for Christmas 2020.
