The Scottish Seabird Centre

Enjoy great days out at the seaside with the five-star Scottish Seabird Centre in the beautiful coastal town of North Berwick. The Centre is situated at North Berwick harbour - an area which has always been the historic heart of the town and the place to which visitors are drawn.

The award-winning Discovery Centre has interactive exhibits, live talks, 3D films and incredible remote viewing cameras. Zoom in on amazing local wildlife in its natural habitat, including puffins, razorbills, guillemots, gannets and seals.

The Bass Rock is the world’s largest colony of Northern gannets and you can experience this wildlife wonder firsthand on the amazing guided boat trips or visit the Isle of May where thousands of puffins breed each spring.

There is plenty to keep the little ones entertained, with wildlife trails, kids-zone and Easter holiday live science shows.

Since 2000, the Seabird Centre has helped to revitalise the historic harbour area and North Berwick as a popular town for people to visit. The award-winning Centre is also a well-used asset for local people all year round
