As someone with a particular interest in the countryside, I have noticed a dramatic increase of litter in our lay-bys but this image which was taken near Bridge of Orchy while

I was en route to my home left me stunned. I really cannot get to grips with the sort of strange mentality that seems to thinks it perfectly acceptable to deface our countryside in this

way. For me it is an excellent example of mindlessness for impact.
