Win­ter berry coulis

Serves 10

200g straw­ber­ries 100g red­cur­rants 100g caster sugar

Method:

1. Place fruit into saucepan with sugar over a medium heat.

2. Crush fruit gen­tly un­til it has dis­solved and be­come saucy.

3. Strain through a sieve and serve hot or cold with home­made cus­tard.

Top: There’s al­ways room for a pud­ding as mouth-wa­ter­ing as this. Above: After pud­ding comes the party.
