Castle chat

A star-studded cast will take visitors to Edinburgh Castle on a journey through the castle’s history as Historic Environment Scotland has launched a brand-new audio guide. It is primarily narrated by broadcasters Sally Magnusson and Eddie Mair, with other voices of note including writer Ian Rankin, actors Bill Paterson, Saoirse Ronan and Andrew Gower, Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin, comedian Susan Morrison, singers The Proclaimers and Scots Makar Jackie Kay. The cast is joined by experts working in the castle. www.historicenvironment.scot
