Six sailors in charity walk to support veterans

Six serving sailors were so inspired by a visit to the Erskine Home that they are to walk the West Highland Way to support the veterans’ charity. The crew, who work in the Waterfront Logistics Support Group at HM Naval Base Clyde, decided to take on the challenge as an office team building exercise, beginning their West Highland Way walk on 4 May and hope to have completed the route by 9 May. The West Highland Way runs from Milngavie, north of Glasgow to Fort William in the Highlands, totalling 96 miles. www.erskine.org.uk
