CELEBRATING DAFFODILS
Scotland’s Daffodil Festival is taking place from 11–12 April in the Backhouse Rossie Grounds in Fife. The daffodils have been bred by the Backhouse family of Quaker botanists. Visitors can take a walk through time discovering daffodil hybridising history. Pots of daffodils will be on sale at the festival, and there will also be Backhouse family ephemera and information on their famous breakthrough daffodils. Limited places are available on the garden tours, and a number of talks will take place with RHS bulb committee experts. For further details, visit www.backhouserossie.co.uk
