The winners of the Young Walter Scott Prize, a historical writing prize for 11-19 year olds, have been revealed. First prize in the 11-15 years category went to 14-yearold Ide Crawford from Macclesfield, and 19-yearold Charlotte Lee from Crewe took the top prize in the 16-19 years category. The winners receive a £500 travel grant, a published book of their work, and a two-day trip to the Borders Book Festival. www. walterscottprize.co.uk
