FRUITMARKET FUNDING

The Fruitmarket Gallery in Edinburgh has launched a fundraising campaign to finance the final 10% of its £3.9 million redevelopment project. The gallery, which opened in 1974, was due to complete its refurbishment this summer, but the work was delayed by the pandemic. The enlarged venue will include more space for art, as well as facilities for theatre, music and poetry. Donors have been invited to buy ‘gifts’ for the gallery, ranging from coat hooks to bookshelves. fruitmarket.co.uk
