‘Little Dobbies’

Garden centre chain Dobbies plans to open the first in a series of smaller stores in Edinburgh. The ‘Little Dobbies’ branch on Raeburn Place will stock house plants, pots and other gardening essentials for city residents. The first store will also have a cafe that will serve takeaway food. The company, which already has 68 garden centres spread around the UK, traces its roots back to 1865 and has its head office on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Dobbies said: ‘For opening, the seasonal ranges will feature Christmas items, including decorations, wreaths and hampers.’
