Getting crafty
The talents of Scotland’s 3,000 craft makers have been celebrated during the inaugural Craft Week Scotland. The week of activities, organised by development charity Craft Scotland, took place both online and in-person. Among those taking part was Katie Leask, manager of the Nielanell Knitwear studio at Hoswick on Shetland. She held a sociallydistanced ‘meet the maker’ session at the studio, which was one of more than 50 events taking place throughout the country, including a series of online talks and conversations with makers.
