POP-UP TO PERMANENT

A restaurant’s pop-up outlet is to become a permanent feature on Portobello Promenade in Edinburgh. The Little Chartroom on the Prom opened over the summer and then popped back up again during the autumn restrictions on hospitality businesses. The takeaway has proved to be so popular that Roberta Hall-McCarron and Shaun McCarron, who own the award-winning Little Chartroom restaurant in Edinburgh, have signed a two-year lease on the seaside unit. ‘We’ve secured all jobs within the business and continue to support our suppliers,’ said Roberta Hall-McCarron. thelittlechartroom.com
