Giving you extra reassurance
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Care UK has always followed Government advice. Whilst we have always had clear processes in place to prevent and contain infection, our pandemic plan includes a number of measures to provide families looking for care with additional reassurance. We work with suppliers to source ample Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) so that all of our care homes have, and continue to have, plenty of supplies. All visitors are provided with masks and sanitising gel on arrival, with many homes now using thermal imaging cameras to detect temperatures. Our caring and passionate teams continue to go above and beyond to ensure residents’ lives remain as normal and busy as possible. We have found new ways to keep residents occupied, with socially distanced exercise and choir groups, virtual bingo and online dance classes. During COVID-19, residents have continued to do the small things that keep us all happy – a walk in the garden, good conversation and the occasional cake or two!
