LANDOWNERS HELPING BIRDS
This year’s Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust Big Farmland Bird Count comes to an end on 15 February. Organiser Roger Draycott, said: ‘As custodians of 71% of Britain’s countryside, farmers, land managers, and gamekeepers are crucial to the survival of cherished bird species like skylarks, yellowhammers, corn buntings and wild grey partridge.’ bfbc.org.uk
