SALE ON TARGET
A .450 express boxlock nonejector rifle produced by Scottish gun maker Alex Henry sold for £8,125 at Gavin Gardiner’s live and online auction of modern and vintage sporting guns, which was held in December before the lockdown restriction began. The rifle carried an estimate of £7,000-9,000. The maker confirmed that the gun had been built in 1890 for W Graw of India. The rifle was sold to a member of the UK trade.
