Strathallan School

-

Strathallan’s mission to provide opportunities for all to excel has never been more pertinent. With all of the challenges they face this year, it has never been important that we provide an education system that can flex and adapt to our children’s interests and learning styles, and respond dynamically to local and global restrictions. Strathallan’s teaching, whether online or onsite at our 153-acre Perthshire campus, has been leading the way for new models of learning and supporting pupils academically and pastorally now and in the future.

Opportunities for all to excel

Strathallan pupils excel academically, compete in sports at national and international levels, and play as part of nationwide orchestras and ensembles. In 2019 (the most recent formal examinations), Strathallan students achieved their best A Level results in almost a decade, with a quarter of all A Level students awarded straight A* or A grades. Our ambition is to inspire a lifelong enjoyment of learning for learning’s sake. With a flexible curriculum and innovative teaching, we can support every pupil to achieve. Strathallan leavers go on to Oxbridge and Russell Group universities, international study, work placements, the Armed Forces and professional sporting careers.

Excellence worldwide

Children find confidence in themselves at Strathallan. In their most recent inspection, the Care Inspectorate rated Strathallan a Grade 6 (Sector Leading) Excellent for our quality of care and support. We make the most of our world-class facilities and our self-contained, rural campus every day, but our pupils and alumni come from all over the globe. This diversity of community, activities, facilities and experience means Strathallians leave our school with maturity, with close friends and the ability to make new ones, and with the knowledge and skills to succeed wherever they go.
