Scotland’s Rural College has unveiled plans to open an equine centre at its Craibstone campus in Aberdeen. The centre will include stables for up to six horses, a ménage, and equipment storage. The college expects to spend £310,000 on the project, which is part of its preparations for launching higher national certificate and diploma courses in equine studies at Craibstone this autumn. Practical lessons will be delivered by Aberdeen Riding Club. The college already offers equine studies at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre on its Oatridge campus in West Lothian.
