An inlaid mahogany secretaire linen press by Francis Brodie is for sale from At The Sign Of The Pelican in Cupar, Fife. Dating from the 1760s, this is a full width fitted secretaire drawer above a pair of doors, inlaid with militaristic motifs, enclosing sliding trays, on panelled bracket feet. This fascinating cabinet displays many of Brodie's defining features, notably the panelled bracket feet and the brass armatures. It has a price of £12,000.
