I WANT IT BECAUSE: I love camping but can’t get going in the morning without a good cup of coffee. This handy travel coffee maker brews coffee in a couple of minutes without any bitterness.

USEFUL FOR: Camping, but I travel everywhere with this now. It’s a great little gadget, easy to pack and cleans up really quickly too.

HIGH POINT: The design enables everything to be stored inside the cup that you drink from.

LOW POINT: My very expensive home coffee machine is feeling unloved since this easy-to-use gadget entered my life.

I WANT IT BECAUSE: It’s cold outside but these have kept my feet warm and dry all winter.

USEFUL FOR: Walking the dog in the cold and wet (they are 100% waterproof). The thermal fleece lining provides comfort and warmth. They are lightweight and the soft top ensures no rubbing/chafing.

HIGH POINT: The Vibram sole gives such great grip that I stayed upright even in the ice and snow of Beast from the East 2. I also like the tab for pulling them on. Good for apres-ski.

LOW POINT: You need to double knot the laces. Your feet can get hot if worn inside.
