BLUEBELLS WILL BE IN BLOOM
The Ardkinglas Estate in Argyll is celebrating one of Scotland’s most beloved flowers throughout May. The Bluebell Festival will run from 1-30 May, when the vivid blue carpet of fragrant bluebells is at its peak. Bluebells won’t be the only flowers on show, as the huge yellow flowers and large leaves of lysichiton americanus, known as the Skunk Cabbage, emerge in damper areas, while deciduous Azaleas are in flower producing their heady perfume. The Ardkinglas Estate is open each day from 9am-8pm. ardkinglas.com
