AN ARCHITECT'S PARADISE
What incredible architecture in your May edition of Scottish Field.
As a former art student who loves architecture
I am partial to a bonnie repurposed church like The Tabernacle while Hugh Berry's Home of the Year in Glasgow's West End was a real showstopper.
There is no denying the work that has gone into both those properties, and I can only imagine the planning that was required to retain so much of The Tabernacle's beauty.
But it was Blackthorn Salt's graduation tower that really caught my eye – that really is fit for a Hollywood blockbuster set. I can just about hear the trickling of the water down those thorns. It was absolutely stunning, and it's wonderful to see such innovation on our doorsteps.
