It might be the summer, but the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh are already thinking ahead to the festive season. Christmas at the Botanics will once again take up residence this winter. The one-mile afterdark illuminated trail will run from 25 November to 2 January. www.rbge. org.uk/christmas
