TAKING CARE OF THE FUR BABIES

You included a review of the Trigony House [Hotel Reviews, March 2020 issue]. We recently stayed there with our little dog Alfie. The hotel was exactly as the review and we would not have found it if it had not been for your article.

There is a big difference between dog-friendly and dog-tolerant, as a recent stay at a very well-known Edinburgh hotel taught me. A hotel which is very dog-friendly and of a high quality is the Pinetrees Hotel in Pitlochry, with its beautiful gardens, super food and beautiful rooms. I look forward to SF's review.

Finally your recent review of the Prestonfield Hotel [October 2020 issue] captured the character of the beautiful hotel perfectly. We have been lucky to stay there a couple of times and can report it is very dog-friendly. Joanne McDonnell, Co Louth,
