CASKS GOING TO AUCTION

Three casks of whisky feature as part of Tennants Auctioneers’ Whisky and Fine Wine Sale on 17 September. Bought some 25 years ago, the casks have been sitting in bond at Deanston Distillery. Leading the selection is the Macallan 1989 Single Malt Scotch Whisky Hogshead, with an estimate of £80,000120,000. Also on offer are two Hogsheads of 1995 Tobermory Single Malt Whisky, each offered with an estimate of £25,000-35,000.
