The Weavers is honoured

A pub in a quiet Scottish town has been presented with a prestigious award. The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) has awarded The Weavers in Strathaven, South Lanarkshire, with a Golden Award, marking 50 years of the organisation’s campaigns. As part of its anniversary celebrations throughout 2021, CAMRA recognised those who have made a significant contribution to CAMRA’s aims. The Weavers has been recognised as a winner for standing the test of time – the pub has links to weaving in the 19th century. www.camra.org.uk
