SAVING A SEA EAGLE

A concerned Highland Perthshire gamekeeper came to the assistance of an ailing whitetailed eagle after he found it grounded and struggling. The gamekeeper, who does not wish to be named, found the grounded eagle during his chores on a local grouse moor and instantly became fearful for its survival. The bird was wet and not moving and seemed outwardly to be in poor condition. He captured the bird, gave it sustenance and shelter and delivered it to Crieff Vets. It had previously been rescued in June.
