Islay hotel The Machrie has launched its first premium own-label Scottish artisan gin. The Machrie Gin has been created in partnership with Isle of Islay Gin, inspired by the splendour and diversity of Islay’s breathtaking landscapes, bringing to life the island’s Hebridean spirit. The Machrie Gin has been crafted using a mix of botanicals including sorrel. The Machrie Gin is sold at the hotel, retailing at £39.50 for a bottle. www.themachrie.com
