Fairmont St Andrews executive assistant manager Philip Egan was honoured at the 2021 Acorn Awards. One of the industry’s most prestigious annual events, the Acorn Awards recognises 30 of the hospitality industry’s most talented people under the age of 30. Having studied hotel management at Shannon College in County Clare, Philip joined Fairmont’s leadership development programme in 2014, working his way up to assistant housekeeping manager by 2016.
