Speaking personally, I’d be looking at a well-diversified, actively-managed portfolio with a 70%-plus equity weighting, which is regularly reviewed and rebalanced. Although markets are close to historic highs, equities still offer value and – with the expected low-interest environment due to continue – I’d be comfortable with them riding out any short-term volatility.
