THEATRE BOOST

Keeping the arts alive in Highland Perthshire has been given a massive boost after Pitlochry Festival Theatre received £485,112 through round two of Creative Scotland’s Performing Arts Venue Relief fund. These funds are directed to ensuring the Theatre’s solvency, and supporting it to reach as many people as possible, of all different ages, during the Coronavirus outbreak. This summer the theatre employed 52 freelancers for their outdoor season, and will hire 80 freelancers for the period from September to December. www.pitlochryfestivaltheatre.com
