Aysgarth School

Set in 50 acres of beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, Aysgarth School is the only choice for all-boys boarding in the north of England. Where ‘boys can be boys’, this thriving Prep school offers endless opportunities, finding the best in every boy whether that is academically, on the sports field or in the creative arts. Boys are welcomed from age 3-13 (and girls from 3-8) into this traditional and friendly school, where we seek to develop the whole child and to inspire them for the future.

With around 90% of boys boarding in some form, there is a real sense of community and family, where each boy is cared for and flourishes in their own individual way. Academic performance is excellent and this is matched by the success of the sporting, musical, dramatic and artistic departments. The activities programme is vast and the boys work hard and have a great deal of fun.
