ALL THE FUN OF THE FAIR

I just wanted to put pen to paper, or as is the case here fingers to keyboard, to express my unbridled joy at being back at Scone for the GWCT Scottish Game Fair.

And I know that the Scottish Field team will share my enthusiasm. It was delightful to see the lovely ladies on the stand and renew my annual subscription.

I've attended the Game Fair for more years than I care to remember and I think I'd started to very much take for granted how wonderful an event it is. It has taken a global pandemic for me to realise what this and the other amazing Scottish shows and events mean to the entire country.

Be it hob-nobbing with royalty, trying to contain myself at all of the amazing produce on show in the foodhall, marvelling at the demos, browsing the stands or just watching the dogs of all shapes and sizes enjoy the day (this is my personal favourite). There really isn't a better way to celebrate Scotland's countryside in all its glory.
