Going solo

A first solo exhibition of new work by abstract painter Julianne Barclay is being held until 7 November. Julianne, who works in Kinloch Rannoch in Highland Perthshire, will be staging her first solo show with The Watermill Gallery in Aberfeldy. This show is the fruition of nearly three years working exclusively towards the crescendo that sees nearly 26 pieces hanging together for Essence, a rich body of work steeped in gestural abstraction.
